3PL and logistics

Every client's stock kept apart, invoiced right, reported on time.

Every job in the warehouse turns into a charge on the client's rate card, and the draft invoice is ready. Your clients check their own stock in the portal.

Sound familiar?

Every month in a 3PL warehouse

  1. Labelling, kitting and other value-added work never makes it onto the invoice; month-end means spreadsheets.

  2. Clients call every day: "Where's my stock? Has my order shipped?"

  3. Every new client means setting up rates, processes and reports from scratch.

  4. The queue at the dock is run by phone and a whiteboard.

  • Problem: Clients' stock gets mixed up.

    Per-client stock

    Available

Each client's stock is kept, shown and reported separately. When needed, stock can be transferred from one client to another.

  • Problem: Rates live in spreadsheets, contracts in folders.

    Contracts and rate cards

    Available

Each client gets its own contract and rate card. Tiered pricing is supported, and you're reminded when a contract is up for renewal.

  • Problem: Work done never reaches the invoice.

    Automatic charging and draft invoices

    Available

Storage, receiving, picking, packing, shipping, returns: every job becomes a charge on the rate card. The draft invoice is ready for you to approve. An unbilled-work list keeps anything from slipping through.

  • Problem: Value-added work goes unrecorded.

    Value-added services

    Available

Labelling, repacking and kitting run on work orders. When the job is done, stock is updated and the charge is written automatically.

  • Problem: Clients call to ask about their stock.

    Client portal

    Available

Your clients see their own stock, orders, shipments and invoices in the portal and can raise return requests. Each client gets its own users and permissions.

  • Problem: Client orders arrive by email.

Client integration by API and file

    Available

Your client's system sends orders and receives status updates through the API. Bulk file (CSV) import is also available.

  • Problem: Trucks queue at the dock.

    Appointments, docks and yard

    Available

Truck appointments, dock assignment, the yard map and gate check-in in one place.

  • Problem: Every new client is set up from scratch.

    Ready-made 3PL settings

    Available

Charging rules and portal screens come ready. For a new client you define the contract and rate card; the rest runs on the same process.

  • Problem: Large clients ask for EDI.

    EDI data exchange

    In development

Exchanging EDI messages such as orders and shipping notices with your clients by file transfer is in development.

Real screens

Three of the screens you'll use in a 3PL warehouse

Warehouses, appointments and the yard. These are general product screens.

  • Zagru One warehouse list; each warehouse card shows zones, locations, occupancy and open orders.
Warehouses: every site you run, with its zones, locations, occupancy and open orders at a glance.
  • Appointment form; carrier and direction, date, time and duration, and the receipt or order it serves.
Appointments: book a dock slot for a carrier; the door is assigned when the truck arrives on site.
  • Trailer move screen; trailer, carrier, type, status and seal details, and destination selection.
Yard: move a trailer; only empty yard slots and docks free right now are offered.

Unretouched product screens. Company and warehouse names on screen are sample data.

A sample day

A sample day in a 3PL warehouse

An illustrative scenario, not taken from a real customer. Times and steps are examples and use only features available today.

  1. 07:00 · Dock plan

The day's appointments are on screen. Arriving trucks are checked in at the gate and assigned a dock.

  2. 09:30 · Client A's goods

Goods are received and booked to client A's stock. The receiving charge is created from the rate card.

  3. 12:00 · Kits for client B

A kitting work order is opened. When it's done, components are consumed, the kit enters stock and the charge is written.

  4. 15:00 · A client checks in

Client C sees its stock and shipments in the portal; no phone call needed.

  5. Month end · Invoicing

Each client's draft invoice is ready. You check the unbilled work and approve the draft.

Compliance and audit

So you can account to your clients

  • Change log

Who changed what and when is logged, with the before and after values. When a client disputes a stock figure, you check the log.

    Available
  • Approved stock adjustments

Stock adjustments don't take effect until a second person approves them.

    Available
  • Turkish e-invoice and e-archive submission

Draft invoices are prepared in Zagru One. The connection to an accredited e-invoicing provider for Turkish e-invoice and e-archive submission is in development.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can I set a different rate card for each client?

Yes. Each client has its own contract and rate card, with tiered pricing if needed. Rates are updated as a new version, and you're reminded when a contract is up for renewal.

Which jobs are charged automatically?

Storage, receiving, putaway, picking, packing, shipping, returns, labour, value-added services, truck detention and minimum charges. The invoice is created as a draft and isn't issued until you approve it.

How do my clients access the system?

Through the client portal. You invite separate users for each client and grant them permissions. A client sees only its own stock, orders, shipments, invoices and documents.

How do we connect to our clients' systems?

Today, by API or by file (CSV) transfer. EDI data exchange is in development. We set up the field mapping with you during onboarding.
